What is the Default Sort in the Advanced Search Results Page?
On default load the report sorts in descending order by a combination of either a rolling 12 months of sales or demand.
This allows for titles with high activity to settle to the top of the report:
- Frontlist titles as well as Future Pub Date titles will be sorted based on the last 12 months of Sales and Demand combined.
- Frontlist titles are titles with a pub date in the last 90 days.
- All other titles (Backlist titles) will be sorted by a rolling 12 months of sales in descending order.
What fields does the Timeframe filter impact in the Advanced Search Results page?
The Timeframe filter in the filter screen only impacts the Initial Sales Qty and Initial Demand fields in the results report. By default the report is set to the initial 8 weeks of a title but users can changes this selection to 12.
What is the max results that Advanced Search can pull back?
All searches will only return a max results list of 100,000 rows.
Why does the Pub Status Filter only pull back my catalog?
The Pub Status filter can only be used to filter down to a publishers list of titles based on status. If a title in not part of a publisher's catalog, the when the Pub Status filter is used those titles will not be included in search results.
What are the different Ingram statuses that make up active titles?
Active Ingram titles are statused the following: Available, Not Yet Received (Future and Past Pub Dates), and Out of Stock (this does not include out of stock indef).
