Advanced Search Filters Glossary:
- Combined Search: This filter recreates the main search bar search function while in the filter screen. Inputs added to this filter will do a combined search in the EAN, Author, or Title fields.
- EAN: International Article Number
- Title: Title/Item Name
- ISBN: International Standard Book Number
- Author: Author/Contributor
- Pub Status: The status of a title supplied by the Publisher. This filter is locked to the publisher catalog only
- ICG Status: The Ingram status of a title (ICG: Ingram Content Group)
- Start Pub Date: Start Date Range for Publication Date
- End Pub Date: End Date Range for Publication Date
- Min List Price: Start Min Price Range for List Price
- Max List Price: End Max Price Range for List Price
- Timeframe: Either 8 or 12 weeks. This filter only impacts the Init Sales Qty and Init Demand Fields found in the results page
- Publisher: Locked to the publisher structure only to filter to portion of publisher's business
- Product Class: The format type of the item ex. Hard Cover Books, Quality Paperback Books, Mass Market, etc.
- Primary BISAC Major Category: The Primary BISAC Major Category
- Primary BISAC: Primary BISAC
- Secondary BISAC: Secondary BISAC
- Tertiary BISAC: Tertiary BISAC
Filter Chips:
As users apply and save filters, filter chips are created so users can see what filters are currently in use while in the results page. This allows the user to retain insight into applied filters while not in the filter page.
Pub Status Filter:
The Pub Status filter can only be used to filter down to a publishers list of titles based on status. If a title in not part of a publisher's catalog, the when the Pub Status filter is used those titles will not be included in search results.
Example: User searches for all items with a title that contains CAT, the results list will pull back all titles in Ingram's Catalog that has cat in the title.
When that filter is combined with Pub Status, then the results will only pull back titles with that selected status with Cat in the title that belong to the publisher.
Active Ingram Title (ICG Status):
Active Ingram titles are statused the following: Available, Not Yet Received (Future and Past Pub Dates), and Out of Stock (this does not include out of stock indef).
Publisher Filter:
The Publisher Filter is locked to your pub numbers only. This means in the filter's available list of items users will only see their pub structure.
NOTE: The Publisher Filter in Advanced Search correlates to the Pub Filter Icon in black main menu bar.
Clear Filters Button:
The Clear Filters button on the filter page will remove all filters currently applied by the user. This also means all filter chips will be removed.
Clearing all filters is a savable action as this is how a user can navigate to the search result page with no filters applied. However results will only pull back the top 100,000.
